May 18th to 20th 2018 we start a trip to a small bug meeting in Recetto, Italy near Milano. We enjoyed driving over the St. Bernardino pass because the tunnel was closed for maintenance. It was really nice to drive through the snow covered mountains. So on the way back we decided to drive to Bellagio on Lago di Como and take the ferry to be able to drive back over the Splügen pass. Really nice weekend trip with friends.
From 15th to 17th September 2017 Francesco organized a short tour with very nice Prosecco tasting and sight seeing around Bassano del Grappa and we attended the Old Bug meeting at the Lago di Garda on Sunday.
End of June 2017, I picked up my Westy in Spokane, WA - USA. I found it on the samba.com and drove with it all the way to San Francisco, CA in two days to get it shipped over to Germany to bring it back to perfect condition.
15th July 2017 we did a nice tour with our friends from Swiss over the old Gothardpass and back to Lugano. Really nice drive for one day trip with our friends from vwboxerteam.ch

First tour of the Year 2017 with www.vwboxerteam.ch - drove in the countryside of Locarno on old small streets to discover the Old mill in Vergeletto. There they produce the farina bóna. This is a traditional product of the Valle Onsernone (Canton Ticino). It is a corn flour, obtained by the very fine grinding of roasted corn kernels.
8th April 2016 the VW Boxer team organized a Karting competition near Locarno Airport in Swiss. Was a great day and still in my memory because I only got the second place.
3rd to 6th of June 2016 we did a long tour to the island La Corse in France. On our way we stopped by the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo near Milano, Italy and did discover lots of streets and places on La Corse. Thanks to Francesco for the amazing organization.
Friday, 9th September 2016 we met in Como and drove to Valtellina and visit the wine cellars. After this continue to Livigno via Passo della Forcola and have drift Go Cart race in Livigno. Saturday, September 10 drive to the Stelvio Pass via Passo Foscagno and Bormio. Ascent by cable car on the Livrio Glacier, Lunch at the Hut Nagler, departure to Livigno via Val D'Umbrail and Passo Santa Maria. Shopping or relax in the hotel's SPA. Dinner in the Hotel. Sunday, September 11 drive to St. Moritz via the Forcola Pass and Bernina Pass, Greetings and return home via the Maloja Pass.
22nd to 24th of May 2015 Francesco organized a nice tour in Trentino which is the North part of Italy. Ferrari winery, old air plane museum as well as the theme in Merano and the Lago di Resia with the floated church.
In September 2015, we made a trip to the Black Forest to the Rhine Falls and the clock museum Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, Germany. Very nice trip as always perfectly organized by Francesco.
13th and 14th of September 2014 we did a nice drive through north Italy and south of Switzerland. Still so many nice places to discover there. Like always great organization from Francesco. Grazie mille!
From 16th to 19th May 2014 we crossed Italy from Forti dei Marmi on the Ligurian Sea to Cervia on the Adrian Sea. On the way back we visited the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. International tour with friends from USA, Italy, Switzerland and Germany.
From 17th to 19th of May 2013 Francesco organized a tour in Valle d'Aosta which is the part in Italy towards France in the Mountains. Local wood art Museum in Cretes, Parc Animalier in Plan d'Introd as well as the Fort Bard. On the way back home I was lucky to enjoy a paillard di vitello alla griglia as well as a meringhe con gelato vanilla for desert in Gravesano near Lugano at the Osteria del Reno. Incredible tour all over.
13th to 15th September 2013 we visited the Porsche meeting in Sion, Valais, Switzerland. Beautiful ride over the Swiss pass roads and an excellent wine tasting right on the vineyards. Great weekend with friends from the VW Boxerteam.ch
